Al Wahda Leather Products Factory is a professional factory that manufactures leather products and designs and develops leather products such as belts and other leather accessories, and at the same time, it also produces products made of textiles and PVC. such as clothing belts, pilgrim belts, and Military, Tactical Belts and It covers the special needs of the local and foreign markets to suit the tastes of different age groups.
The factory was established in the Republic of Yemen in Taiz Governorate in 2010, with more than 50 workers specialized in the production of all kinds of clothing belts in addition to many other accessories with excellent quality and competitive prices.
Al Wahda Factory is a wonderful blend of creativity and youth energy, its presence and continuity is the result of the passion and vision of a team of young designers and specialists with a constant focus on improvement and new designs
Factory development stages
The first stage
The beginning of the establishment of the factory in a small area not exceeding 200 square meters and limited management.
The second stage
opening of the spinning and weaving department Manufacture of raw materials for products made of (textiles - PVC)
The third stage
expansion of the administration departments and opening special departments for production and finance to monitor quality and production costs
The importance of the factory
- The factory is one of the most important factories in the Republic of Yemen in leather products, because of its importance in supporting the national economy by supplying the Yemeni market with national products from local natural resources and moving from external import to local manufacturing to find a competitive alternative for imported products
- The factory is the first in Yemen and neighboring countries in terms of providing pilgrims’ belts that were imported from East Asian countries such as (China – Singapore – Sri Lanka).
- The role of the factory is highlighted at the local level by serving the community, improving individual income, creating job opportunities for Yemeni youth and community participation by contributing to supporting the Yemeni community in the educational, social and sports fields.
And providing services to some laboratories in the local market. - It works to compensate for the shortage in the local market for products to meet the market need and meet the needs and tastes of customers and importers with new designs models and provide them to the markets easily and in a faster time.
